Mirai Suenaga illustrator Dmyo returns to Philippines for Doujin event

The organizers of Sketch:Doujin Expo event announced on Friday that Japan-based illustrator and manga artist Nao Shirahane a.k.a Dmyo is coming to the event as one of the guests.

Dmyo is famous for being one of the illustrators of Danny Choo’s Mirai Suenaga and other mascot characters of Culture Japan.

Her other works includes insert illustrations to light novels and manga series published by Konami and Kadokawa. She also contributed her talent in the production of the Nintendo 3DS game “Onna no Ko to Misshitsu ni Tara ○○ Shichau Kamoshirenai” (女の子と密室にいたら○○ しちゃうかもしれない。︎) by D3Publisher and PSP’s “SUCRE” by Giga.

Dmyo first came to the Philippines in 2016 as a guest for Ozine Fest.

Sketch: Doujin Expo will happen on June 10th-11th, 2017 at Megatrade Hall 3, 5th Floor, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City, Philippines.

The event has also invited Vietnamese cosplayer MIU as guest, which also works as an illustrator for mobile games.

Sketch:Doujin Expo is organized by Otakuzine Anime Magazine and it will feature artist booths, various art competitions and drawing tutorials.
