The live-action film adaptation of the legendary series Gintama is set to screen in the Philippines this August.
Viewers’ Choice Philippines posted the announcement including the promotional video of the movie on their Facebook page on Tuesday.
Based on the manga series of the same name by Hideaki Sorachi, the live-action film will openin Japan on July 14.
Popular Japanese actor Shun Oguri will play the protagonist Gintoki Sakata, who run the Yorozuya shop. Yuichi Fukuda from the live-action Hentai Kamen film is directing the movie.
