Sony Picture’s GEM TV Asia channel has announced its line-up of the best Asian entertainment programs for the month of October 2017.
It includes Japanese drama My High School Business, which will premiere at the same week* in Japan, and two murder mystery specials of The Files of Young Kindachi (Lost in Kowloon and Jungle School Murder Mystery).
My High School Business tells a story of former trading employee Rosuke Narumi, played by Sho Sakurai, as he gets appointed as the new principal of a private high school that was experiencing some financial problems. He soon discovers the big difference between his current work environment from his previous job. The series premieres at GEM TV Asia on October 21, airing every Saturday at 7:30 PM, at same week as Japan.
Based on a manga series written by Yozaburo Kanari or Seimaru Amagi, the two The Files of Young Kindaichi live-action special, Lost in Kowloon and Jungle School Murder Mystery will premiere on October 22 and October 29 at 10:30 PM.
The channel will also air several Japanese variety shows, including The Quest Season 6 and I’m Old Enough, which will premiere on October 6 and October 26 at 10:10 PM.
GEM is available on SKYCable Channel 116 in Metro Manila and on Channel 222 in Cebu, Davao, Bacolod, Iloilo, and Baguio.
