The third season of Toaru Majutsu no Index anime was confirmed by Dengeki Bunko editor Kazumi Miki during the Dengeki Bunko Fall Festival 2017 event in Tokyo last Sunday.
The third season will premiere in 2018 as part of the launch of “A Certain Project 2018.”
Voice actors Atsushi Abe and Yuka Iguchi will reprise their roles as Toma Kamijo and Index for the third season.
In 2015, Miki previously said in a panel that there is no season 3 yet for Index, then apologizing to the audience.
