Southeast Asian anime channel Animax Asia has announced that upcoming anime series Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san will air on the channel next month.
The series premieres on January 8 at 11:30PM same day as Japan.
Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san is based on a manga series by Souichirou Yamamoto. The manga was nominated for the 10th Manga Taishou awards in January 2017.
Animax describes the series as follows:
Middle-school student Nishikata suffers constant humiliation at the hands of Takagi, his classmate who sits next to him and who loves teasing him. He vows to do the same to her but always fails miserably in the face of her witty antics. As they continue to joke around every day in class, will Nishikata ever succeed in getting back at Takagi? And amidst all this “fun”, could there be something more than friendship blossoming?
