SCANDAL’s Philippine promoter apologizes on concert ticket issue

Primetrade Asia, Inc on Tuesday apologized for the issue concerning the early release of concert tickets for SCANDAL Asia Tour 2018 “Honey” in Manila.

The tickets for the Scandal concert were made available for purchase online via SM Tickets without any prior announcement from the local promoter. The announcement was made after few hours and tickets are already close to selling out.

Among the ticket tiers that were immediately sold out were the Emperor’s Pass (Php8,500), the most expensive ticket tier and the Meet and Greet Pass (Php1,800).

Amidst the negative feedback, Primetrade Asia, Inc. said that they are doing their best to fine ways to be able to welcome more attendees to the concert.

Here is the full official statement after the jump.

We are very grateful for the interest shown for the upcoming SCANDAL ASIA TOUR 2018 “HONEY” IN MANILA. Due to the high demand and limited quantity of the Emperor’s and Fan Meet Passes available for public sale, the tickets had been sold fast through SM Ticket’s largest network with 77 branches nationwide and online platform. And, because of the technicalities of the ticketing system, the tickets were made available for purchase online earlier than the announcement and the advised schedule to the Promoter.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. While we cannot commit to anything in the meantime, we are doing our best to find ways to be able to welcome more attendees. Thank you.

Scandal Asia Tour 2018 “Honey” in Manila will happen on June 24 at SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The band’s Fan Meet is scheduled on June 23.
