Jeepney TV, ABS-CBN’s cable channel focused on airing classic television programs, has announced in a promotional video that it will be broadcasting anime titles starting this March.
The “HERO Zone” which is a defunct anime block on the former HERO TV channel, will again run on the entertainment channel starting March 11, airing every Sunday at 10 AM-12NN. The first title in its line up is the classic racing anime Initial D: Fifth Stage.
The announcement was also made on ABS-CBN’s pop-culture web portal HERO.
Jeepney TV is available on SkyCable Channel and Destiny Channel 9.
