Five contemporary Japanese films to screen this November

The Japan Foundation, Manila has announced on Friday that they will be having free screenings of award-winning Japanese historical, drama, feature and animated films for the first-time at selected Robinsons Movieworld theaters.

Dubbed as “Japan Movie Fest”, the event will run from November 19 to December 1, 2018 at the following Robinsons Movieworld branches: Metro East in Pasig (Nov 19-20); Gen. Trias in Cavite (Nov 21-22); Starmills in San Fernando, Pampanga (Nov 24-25); and Pavia in Iloilo (Nov 30-Dec 1).

Films included in the screenings are A Tale of Samurai Cooking – A True Love Story, Thermae Romae, Nobody to Watch Over Me, Mameshiba  and animated film Pop in Q.

All films are with English subtitles. Admission is free on a first-come, first-served basis.

This film showing is also a joint project with Film Development Council of the Philippines.
