Dragon Ball Super: Broly anime film gets Philippine release early next year

(UPDATE 1/17/2019) The upcoming anime film, Dragon Ball Super: Broly will hit the Philippine theaters early next year according to Twentieth Century Fox Philippines last Thursday.

The movie trailer was streamed on their official Facebook page announcing the film’s release in the country on January 30, 2019.

Local exhibitor SM Cinema will exclusively screen the 12th Dragon Ball film on their branches nationwide.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly will be the 20th film in the Dragon Ball franchise, and the first under the Super series.

It follows the events of the Dragon Ball Super anime series and depicts the fate of Goku and Vegeta as they encounter, Broly, a Saiyan more powerful than anyone the two have ever fought before.

The film is set to be released this December 14 in Japan and January in the United States.
