Kemono Friends 2 to air on ANIPLUS Asia this January 2019

(Updated Jan 7) The new season of Kemono Friends anime series will air on ANIPLUS Asia this January as part of its Winter 2019 season simulcast.

Kemono Friends 2 will premiere on January 15, airing every Tuesday at 2:35 with encore at 23:00 on the same day.

It was earlier announced that the series will premiere on January 8, but moved due to change in broadcast schedule.

Kemono Friends is a multimedia project kickstarted by concept designer Mine Yoshizaki, who is also the creator of the manga series “Keroro Gunso”. The first season of the anime which aired from January to March 2017 garnered a huge amount of attention.

The new season will be set in Japari Park, where Serval and Caracal meets a human, Child, within a forest and set off on a journey. Ryuichi Kimura (Aikatsu!) is directing the new season and studio Tomason (Folktales from Japan) is overseeing the anime production.

The first season premiered on the channel last July 2018.

Aside from Kemono Friends 2, ANIPLUS Asia will also simulcast B-Project ~Zeccho*Emotion~ and The Promised Neverland.

ANIPLUS Asia is available in the Philippines on Skycable Channel 139, EASY TV digital top box Channel 10 and over-the-top video streaming site Sky-on-Demand.
