Otaku Asia anime magazine to be discontinued

The official Facebook page of Otaku Asia anime magazine has announced on Wednesday that the magazine will be discontinued from publication.

However, the magazine’s social media accounts will still continue to share related contents until the core team decides on magazine’s new direction according to the post.

Published by PSICOM Publishing Inc., Otaku Asia was described as the country’s first otaku lifestyle magazine. The first issue was released in 2013 with the last issue released in 2018.

Hello Otafans!
It has been a journey but now, Otaku Asia has been discontinued. Which means you will not see a new magazine from us anymore.

While we are sad to say goodbye, we’re thankful for the good times, the articles that challenged us, the people we met, and our readers.

For now, we will continue to share content and keep our social media sites until the core team decides on OA’s new direction. Until such time, we will not be accepting media partnerships, feature proposals, and press releases.
