GEM brings J-pop group KAT-TUN to HK for ‘The Music Day’

This year, GEM will be partnering Johnny & Associates again to bring its popular boy group, KAT-TUN, to Hong Kong to perform live as part of ‘THE MUSIC DAY’ line-up.

KAT-TUN, a three-member group comprising Kazuya Kamenashi, Tatsuya Ueda and Yuichi Nakamaru, is one iconic Japanese boy band. Not only have they conquered the music scene, they have proven to be multi-talented with roles in variety shows, dramas and movies. Their popularity continues to sweep throughout the region and attract tons of fans in the region.

Commenting on the event, Kazuya Kamenashi said, “We look forward to be able to perform on ‘THE MUSIC DAY’ this year, and are very excited that it will be live from Hong Kong! ‘THE MUSIC DAY’ will be broadcast simultaneously in Asia on GEM, and we also look forward to seeing fans at our fan meeting in Hong Kong. ‘THE MUSIC DAY,’ hosted by Sho Sakurai from ARASHI, will be broadcast through GEM on July 6, 2019, Saturday, at 3:50pm Hong Kong time.
