The movie will premiere on Friday, July 5 at 10:00 P.M on he channel’s “Stay Home Friday” block.

Perfect World is a 2018 Japanese live-action film based on a manga series by Rie Aruga of the same name. The film was directed by Kenji Shibayama, who also directed Kimi no Skuna Uta (2011) and Before a Falling Star Fades Away (2015).

The film’s cast include Takanori Iwata, a member of Japanese band EXILE and Hana Sugisaki, who also stared in the 2018 live-action film, Bleach as Rukia Kuchiki.

The movie tells about the romance between Ayukawa Itsuki, an architect who left paralyzed by a sudden accident and Kawana Tsugumi, who had a crush with Itsuki from high school.

The film is also set to screen in the 22nd EIGASAI – Japanese Film Festival this July.

Red by HBO is available in the Philippines on Cignal Channel 50 and Skycable Channel 74.
