The film adaptation of the coming-of-age romantic comedy series ‘Saekano, How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend‘ will be shown soon in Philippine theaters.
Pioneer films announced on Sunday that the film is set to release to local cinemas ‘as soon as the quarantine is lifted.’
Saekano the Movie Finale is a new film based on the popular light novel series by Fumiaki Maruto with illustration by Kurehito Misaki.
It follows regular high school student and ‘otaku’ Aki Tomoya, as he teams up with his female classmates to create a ‘doujin’ game featuring a beautiful girl that he met. The series was first adapted into an anime series in 2015 with the second season following in 2017.
