SCANDAL announces first ever “worldwide livestream concert”

Japanese rock band SCANDAL announced on Wednesday that they are set to perform at their first ever “worldwide livestream concert” next month.

The band said on their official website that the SCANDAL World Tour 2020 “Kiss from the Darkness” livestream will take place live on Friday, August 21 at 7PM Japanese Time.

The band also announced the postponement of their Europe and North American World Tour due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

They were also set to perform at the New Frontier Theater in Manila last June but the concert has been postponed due to the pandemic.

Formed in August 2006 by four high school girls, the band is known for performing the theme songs of anime series which includes Shoujo S and Harukaze for Bleach and Shunkan Sentimental for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
