The last episode of Sword Art Online: Alicization ended with an announcement that the Sword Art Online: Progressive light novels will be receiving an an anime adaptation.
A new promotional video for the upcoming series was also released. A new website for the anime also opened.
Author Reki Kawahara first published the light novel in 2012. The novels retells the story of the Aincrad arc from “Sword Art Online.”
Other details about the new anime have yet to be annnounced.
