“Fruits Basket” remake to air on Animax Asia this February

The 2019 anime adaptation of the hit manga series “Fruits Basket” is set to air on Animax Asia this February.

According to the schedule on the official website, the series’ first season will premiere on Monday, February 22, airing back-to-back episode on weekdays at 10 PM.

“Fruits Basket” is based on the hit manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya.

Animax Asia describes the series as follows:

After her life is turned upside down due to a family tragedy, Tohru Honda starts living in a tent in the forest to support herself. However, the plot of forest is actually part of a property where her popular schoolmates Yuki, Kyo and their cousin Shigure Soma live. Tohru ends up living in the Soma house after being discovered, and in the process uncover their secret – the members of the Soma clan are under a dark curse by the spirits of the Chinese Zodiac.

The third season to the remake will premiere on April 2021 in Japan.

ANIMAX Asia is available on local cable television via Skycable, GSat and Cignal. It is also available at over-the-top video streaming site Cignal Play.
