Jujustsu Kaisen won the “Anime of the Year” award at the 5th Crunchyroll Anime Awards held last February 20, 2021.
The series bested other titles, such as Keep You Hands Off Eizouken!, Dorohedoro, Great Pretender, Appare-Ranman! and Beastars.
It also won other awards including best antagonist and best ending sequence.

The Crunchyroll Anime Awards, now on its fifth edition, aim to “help determine the best that anime has to offer.”
