Ani-One Asia to stream “My Hero Academia” Season 5 this Spring

Ani-One Asia has announced that the fifth season of “My Hero Academia” will premiere this Saturday, March 27 across multiple territories in Asia like Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Brunei, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia.

My Hero Academia’s newest season will be available via Ani-One video on demand platforms in the said territories. It will also be available on IQIYI, Netflix, VIU Asia and WeTV.

My Hero Academia is based on a manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi.

The series follows the story of young boy name Izuku Midoriya who dreamed of becoming just like his favourite Hero, All Might. In a world where 80% of humanity has superpowers, his hopes seemed to be shattered when he discovered he has none. Yet a chance encounter with All Might himself changes everything.
