The upcoming anime series “Record of Ragnarok” is set to premiere this June 2021 worldwide on Netflix.
The announcement was made during AnimeJapan 2021 livestream event on Friday. A new trailer and key visual are also unveiled.
“Record of Ragnarok” is based on the hit manga series by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, with illustrations by Ajichika. The anime series is produced by Graphinica with Masao Ōkubo as the director.
Netflix describes the series as follows:
The series is the story of 13 gods from across the globe and 13 of the world’s most notable humans fighting it out in one-on-one battles to decide the fate of humanity. Based on the manga created by Azychika, Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, an earnest battle of transcendental rage begins!”
