Animax Asia announced on Thursday that it will air “Rent-A-Girlfriend” anime this April.
The series will air every Monday and Tuesday at 10PM with double episode starting April 6.
Rent-A-Girlfriend is based on a romance comedy manga series written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima.
It tells the story Kazuya Kinoshita, a college student who was dumped by his girlfriend for another guy. In an attempt to appease the void in his heart, he uses a mobile app to hire Chizuru Mizuhara, a rental girlfriend who, unbeknown to him, happens to be both a fellow student and his neighbor.
The channel will also air Golden Kamuy Season 3 starting April 14 at 10PM.
ANIMAX Asia is available on local cable television via Skycable, GSat and Cignal. It is also available at over-the-top video streaming site Cignal Play.
