“Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train” film coming to Viu this June

Japan’s hit anime film Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train is coming to over-the-top (OTT) video streaming service Viu this June.

The film will start streaming on the platform on June 16, Viu announced on Friday via their official social media accounts.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie: Mugen Train is based on the manga series Demon Slayer:Kimetsu no Yaiba by Koyoharu Gotouge and it is the direct sequel to the anime series.

The film’s official website tells the story as follows:

Tanjiro and the group have completed their rehabilitation training at the Butterfly Mansion, and they arrive to their next mission on the Mugen Train, where over 40 people have disappeared in a very short period of time.

Tanjiro and Nezuko, along with Zenitsu and Inosuke, join one of the most powerful swordsmen within the Demon Slayer Corps, Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku, to face the demon aboard the Mugen Train on track to despair.

The film was shown in the Philippines last February.

Viu is an over-the-top (OTT) video streaming service operated by PCCW Media Group. It is available in 16 markets including countries in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, as well as South Africa.
