Ani-one Asia recently announced its plan to stream upcoming anime series Higurashi: When They Cry SOTSU this July.
The series will premiere on July 1 via the Ani-one Youtube channel.
It will be available to viewers in the following territories: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Timor-Leste, Thailand and Vietnam, Fiji, Guam, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, New Caledonia, Nauru, Northern Mariana Island, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Seychelles, Solomon Islands, Tahiti, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu Island.
“Higurashi: When They Cry SOTSU” is the sequel to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou, which aired from October 2020-March 2021.
The series is directed by Keiichirou Kawaguchi, featuring character designs from Akio Watanabe. It will be produced by Passione, which previously worked on other anime titles such as Ishuzoku Reviewers, Citrus and High School DxD Hero.
The lead voice actors will also return to reprise their roles in the series.
