“Kakegurui Twin” spin-off anime premieres Aug 4 on Netflix

Netflix unveiled on Sunday that upcoming spin-off anime Kakegurui Twin is coming to the platform on August 4.

The series has also released a trailer and key visual.


Kakegurui director Yuuichiro Hayashi is the spin-off’s chief director with Kaori Makita as director, Shigeru Murakoshi as series composer, and Manabu Nii as character designer. Other staff includes Makinobu Nomura, Ayako Suenaga, and Katou Shinnosuke. The idol group i☆Ris will provide the ending song titled “Queen’s Bluff”

MAPPA, which produced the main Kakegurui series will be animating the spin-off.

The cast includes Minami Tanaka, Rina Honnizumi, Yo Taichi, Yuhko Kaida, Aoi Koga, Selichiro Yamashita, and Rie Takahashi.

Kakegurui is a manga series written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Tōru Naomura. It was serialized in 2014. The series inspired two anime seasons in 2017 and 2019, and a live-action adaptation ins 2018.
