Animax Asia announced on Wednesday that it will air upcoming anime series Beast Tamer and Blue Lock this October.
Based on a light novel series written by Suzu Miyama and illustrated by Subachi, Beast Tamer follows the story of a Rein, a beast tamer who was kicked out from the hero’s party because he can only use animals. Now, Rain decides to become an adventurer and meets a girl from a powerful Cat Spirit Tribe.
Beast Tamers will premiere on October 3 same day as Japan.
Blue Lock is based on manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. It tells about a mad young coach, who gathers soccer players from across the country to compete in a series of bizarre challenges in a high-tech colosseum he calls Blue Lock. The series is coming to Animax this October 9.
It was also announced that channel will also air the second season of Rent-A-Girlfriend next month. It will start airing on October 17 at 10PM.
ANIMAX Asia is available on local paid television in the Philippines such as Cignal Satellite TV 73, G Sat 58, Dream TV 31, and Skycable/Destiny 46.
