Kimi ni Todoke live-action series is coming to Netflix in March

The live-action series adaptation of the popular manga and anime series “Kimi ni Todoke” will be available on Netflix starting March 30th.

The original manga series, which was first released in Japan in 2006, follows the story of Sawako Kuronuma, a shy and misunderstood high school student who is often mistaken for a horror movie character due to her long dark hair and quiet demeanor. However, her life changes when she befriends Shouta Kazehaya, a popular and friendly boy in her class who helps her to open up and make more friends.

The live-action adaptation, which is titled From Me to You: Kimi ni Todoke, stars Minami Sara as Sawako Kuronuma and Suzuka Ouji as Kazehaya Shouta. Takehiko Shinjo is directing the series with Hayato Miyamoto as scriptwriter.

Other cast members include Kaito Sakurai, Rinka Kumada, Riho Nakamura, Naho Tada, Hiroyuki Hirayama, and Shōhei Mīura.
