The film follows the Tokyo MER team, led by Dr. Kota Kitami (Suzuki), as they rush to the scene of a disaster at the Landmark Tower in Yokohama, where thousands of people are trapped. The team is equipped with a large vehicle that contains an operating room and advanced medical technology, allowing them to perform life-saving surgeries on the spot. Their mission is simple: Save every life.
The film also features other talented actors, such as Kento Kaku, who plays Nao Otowa, a secret agent from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, who joins the Tokyo MER team and forms a close bond with Kitami. Jesse Lewis, a member of the popular Jpop band SixTONES, plays Tomohiro Shiomi, a trainee doctor with a passionate sense of mission. Yuriko Ishida plays Azusa Akatsuka, the Tokyo governor who handpicked Kitami to head the Tokyo MER team.
