The Japanese anime music festival ANISAMA WORLD 2025 will take place in Manila on Saturday, June 7, 2025. The event will be held at the New Frontier Theater, starting at 7 PM. The festival is organized by Wilbros Live and marks the first time ANISAMA WORLD is hosted in the Philippines.
Originally known as Animelo Summer Live (ANISAMA) in Japan, this annual festival is organized by Dwango and Nippon Cultural Broadcasting. Since its inception in 2005, the event has featured performances from well-known Japanese music artists. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, ANISAMA expanded globally under the name ANISAMA WORLD, bringing the festival to international audiences.
Performers scheduled to appear in Manila include:
- FLOW – Rock band famous for their songs “GO!!!” (opening theme for NARUTO) and “COLORS” (opening theme for CODE GEASS Lelouch of Rebellion)
- ASH DA HERO – Rock band behind the hits “Judgement” (opening theme for Blue Lock) and Beast Mode / Octave (from Blue Lock: Nagi)
- nobodyknows+ – Hip-hop group best known for their breakthrough song “Hero’s Come Back!!” (opening theme for NARUTO: Shippuden) and “Kokoro Odoru” (from SD Gundam Force)
- Ave Mujica – Girl band from BanG Dream! series. Catch their much-awaited performance featuring heavy sounds unlike any other anime songs! TV anime “BanG Dream! Ave Mujica” became a sensational hit!
- HIROSHI KITADANI – Renowned Japanese vocalist and JAM Project member, best known for his iconic anthem “We Are!” (the first opening theme for ONE PIECE).
- TOSHIYA MIYATA – Japanese singer and actor, member of popular boy-group Kis-My-Ft2. Voice actor in “Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez” and “Kinnikuman”, which were highly praised. He made his first solo appearance at ANISAMA 2024 and performed “Nemophila / Miyata Toshiya (Kis-My-Ft2) feat. Ichinose Tokiya (ST☆RISH)
- MindaRyn – Thai anisong singer, the voice behind the theme song “Like Flames” for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, “Blue Rose Knows” for By the Grace of the Gods and many more.
- Mayu Maeshima – Former lead vocalist of pop-rock band MYTH & ROID, the voice behind the beautiful song Styx Helix for the anime Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World and other songs featured on animes Re:Zero, OVERLORD and Uncle from Another World.
Tickets for ANISAMA WORLD 2025 are available through TicketNet.com.ph and TicketNet outlets nationwide.
Ticket prices, exclusive of ticketing charges, are as follows: VIP Standing at ₱10,000; VIP Seated A at ₱12,000; VIP Seated B at ₱10,000; Lower Box Premium at ₱8,000; Lower Box Regular at ₱6,000; Upper Box at ₱4,000; and General Admission (Free Seating) at ₱2,000.
Fan benefits for regular ticket holders include a VIP ID and lanyard, invitation to a special encore, a chance to join a group photo with artists (with 400 VIP ticket holders randomly selected), a chance to receive a signed poster (100 VIP ticket holders randomly selected), and a random exclusive photocard upon entry for all ticket holders. Winners for the group photo and signed posters will be announced on or before June 6, 2025. Promo tickets do not include fan benefits.
