TOYCON Philippines celebrates its 22nd year with TOYCON POP LIFE Celebration 2025, happening from June 13 to 15 at the SMX Convention Center Manila. Teaming up once again with MINDstyle’s POP LIFE Festival, this year’s theme of “Celebration” promises the biggest and most diverse edition in the convention’s history.
The event expands significantly this year, with over 400 exhibitors and vendors catering to collectors, artists, gamers, cosplayers, and hobbyists. It also welcomes new communities from the trading card game (TCG), cosplay, and battle gaming scenes, further strengthening TOYCON’s role as a central hub for Filipino pop culture.
Attendees can expect the Philippine launch of new brands, including MINDstyle’s Collectormates and ThrillJoy, along with Infinite Brands’ Minix, CaDa, and Rastar. These join legacy brands like Lego, Bandai, Banpresto, Tamashii Nations, Bandai Namco, Shokugan, and Legendary Beast Studios. TOYCON is also known for its sought-after exclusives, and this year’s lineup features special releases from Quiccs, ThrillJoy, Collectormates, and a Voltes V Event Exclusive collectible.
For the first time, the NBA brand will be part of TOYCON, offering licensed merchandise and apparel to sports collectors and enthusiasts.
The return of TOYCONCert brings live performances from both local and international artists, including Starmarie, Miura Ayme with Miko, Pastel Mix, Beverly, Dela, Saya, Wanmini, Ziga, and Shane Shen.
In the cosplay scene, CosKon returns along with a new dedicated cosplay area. Popular cosplayers such as Een, Liabear, Kitz Cua, and Pompomny will be joined by international guests Tiny Asa from Vietnam, Chanel Yui from Singapore, and Eri and Riela from Indonesia. There will also be cosplay photography and costume design competitions.
TOYCON PH 2025 will feature several prominent guests from Japan, including Ryota Ozawa (Gokai Red) and Yui Koike (Gokai Pink) from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, along with legendary voice actors Miyuki Ueda, Rica Matsumoto, and newly announced Yuriko Yamaguchi, known for her roles as Nico Robin in One Piece and Ritsuko Akagi in Evangelion.
A major highlight will be the exclusive reunion of the full Tagalog voice cast of the Straw Hat Pirates from One Piece. Featured talents include Candice Arellano, Vincent Gutierrez, Ray Miranda, Je Utanes, Nica Rojo, Maynard Llames, and Anthony Steven San Juan, offering fans a unique behind-the-scenes look at the Filipino dubbing industry.
The Artist Alley grows with over 100 creators showcasing original art, toy designs, and handmade collectibles. Longstanding competitions return, including the Action Figure Customization, Mecha Design, Doll Dress-up, Art Toy Design, TOY CLICK Toy Photography, and COSCLICK Cosplay Photography contests.
TOYCON PH 2025 introduces TCG Alley, featuring over 60 vendors and official tournaments with Mana Underground, giving card game players opportunities to compete, trade, and win exclusive prizes.
Classic PC games return through a partnership with Republic of Gamers, spotlighting Starcraft, Counter-Strike 1.3, and DoTA 1 in daily team tournaments.
Finally, the event will unveil the 2025 Pinoy Pop Culture Icon Awardee, recognizing significant contributors to Filipino pop culture. Past awardees include Mars Ravelo, Alodia Gosiengfiao, Pol Medina, Michael V., and Big Boy Cheng.
