Fanfes Manila made its debut at SMX Aura

Fanfes Manila 2018 debuted with a unique concept of a marketplace showcasing various fan art/works of as well as original artworks or content of local artists. It was held last May 12-13 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Aura Premier in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The event was brought together by pop culture events organizer, Cosplay.ph.

Around 60 artists have showcased their various creative fanarts at the event. Different fandoms such as famous TV series, drama, cartoons, gaming and even anime were brought to life through stickers, postcards, fancomics/doujinshi’s, keychains, mugs and many more. Some of the artists also offered fan art commissions to the attendees.

Local comic artists Lyndon Gregorio and Jon Zamar also graced the Fanfes Manila by with their famous creations Beerkada and Codename: Bathala as well as other fanart merchandise.

The event also highlighted the Silent Auction which allows attendees to bid on exclusive item by simply writing it down. 

Other attendees showed off their love for their fandom through cosplay. Cosplayers shopped around the event area as their favorite characters such as the cast of visual novel game Doki Doki Literature Club to Zero Two of Darling in the Franxx anime.

Cosplay.ph’s next event in the 2018 Cosplay Mania series is Anime Cosplay Expo which is scheduled on July 7-8 at its new home, SMX Convention Center Manila.
