MNL48 released on Wednesday the music video for their fifth single “High Tension” on the Filipino idol group’s official YouTube channel.
The music video highlights the concept of “overcoming problems and stress from everyday life.”
“For the video, we used symbolisms like black balloons to represent these problems. The girls overcome these obstacles by facing them head on, hence the tough vibe, sticking together and having fun.” Director Miko Pelino further explains the music video’s concept.
‘High Tension’, along with its coupling songs ‘Green Flash’ and ‘1! 2! 3! 4! Yoroshiku!’ was released last November 2019. The song was originally performed by Japanese idol group AKB48 as its 46th single.
MNL48 Team L member Gabb Skribikin is the center of this single.
