The first teaser video for the upcoming 2021 remake of ‘Shaman King’ was revealed on Thursday.
The teaser also unveiled the cast members, which includes some voice actors from the original series.
Katsuyuki Konishi, Megumi Hayashibara, and Minami Takayama will reprise their roles as Amidamaru, Anna Kyoyama and Hao Asakura, respectively. Yoh Asakura will now be voiced by Yoko Hikasa, replacing Yuuko Satou.
It is set to premiere in April 2021.
“Shaman King” is based on the 1998 manga series written by Hiroyuki Takei. It follows the adventures of Yoh Asakura as he dreams to become the “Shaman King”. To do this, he must win the Shaman Fight, a once-in-a-lifetime competition that will decide just who is the most powerful and worthy shaman in the world.
