“Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card” anime series is now available for viewing on Netflix in the Philippines.
The series is the sequel to original series and focuses on the protagonist Sakura Kinomoto in junior high school.
Only the third season is available and the streaming giant has yet to announce if they will also include the first two seasons.
Several seasons of the “Cardcaptor Sakura” already arrived to Netflix in other regions including North America, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand.
Cardcaptor Sakura is based on a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by the manga group Clamp.
Netflix describes the series as follows:
After a young girl breaks the seal of magical book, releasing the spirits of the cards inside, she must become a “Carcaptor” and retrieve them.
The original anime series first aired in Japan in 1998. The series aired on Philippine television as part of ABS-CBN’s afternoon programming in 2001.
ABS-CBN’s digital channel Yey started airing the Clear Card arc, however the channel ceased its operations after airing few episodes.
