Anime Club announced on Wednesday that it will stream the classic anime series Combattler V on Youtube.
The first episode will be available starting on Friday, April 23 at 3PM, dubbed in Filipino.
Combattler V is a classic hit anime series produced by Toei Company and Soeisha. The show premiered in Japan in 1976 and it is a part of the Robot Romance Trilogy of Super Robot series.
It first aired in the Philippines in 1999.
Anime Club describes the series as follows:
Five brave individuals were chosen by Doctor Nanbara to pilot his greatest invention, the super-electromagnetic robot, Combattler V to defend the world against Oreana and the Campbellians. An alien civilization that left planet Campbell thousands of years ago to seek out new worlds to inhabit. Although they were delayed with their plan of conquering the Earth, Oreana and her son Garuda finally reawakens and causes havoc to mankind.
Anime Club describes itself as as a haven for classic anime fans in the Philippines. The Anime Club Youtube channel is also streaming the Filipino-dubbed version of Daimos and Voltes V.
