Anime and Cosplay Expo (ACX) 2025 is set to unleash a flurry of fandom at Function Rooms 4-5, SMX Convention Center Manila on July 19–20. Dubbed “Raindrop Reverie,” the event promises a jam-packed weekend celebrating cosplay, anime, and pop culture.
Now part of Cosplay.ph’s “Seasons of Cosplay” and coinciding with the 25th anniversary of cosplay in the Philippines, ACX 2025 continues to establish itself as a premier mid-year convention since its debut in 2016.
Attendees can explore hundreds of exhibits offering collectibles, exclusive merchandise, and special discounts, including the Cosplay Auction, where starting bids go as low as ₱1. A lineup of immersive fan experiences awaits, including the new tournament-style cosplay competition Cosplay Contender, where participants battle for the title in a knockout format.
Other featured segments include Shadow Play, Don’t Skip the Intro, Cosplay Karaoke Encore, and Cosplay’s Got Talent. Winners of these performances will have the chance to become opening acts at the upcoming JAM Concert during Cosplay Mania 2025.
One of the most anticipated highlights is the first-ever Philippine appearance of U.S.-based guest cosplayer Kanalyss, who will take part in onstage segments, meet-and-greets, and autograph signings.
ACX 2025 will also host the official reveal of Cosplay Mania and JAM Concert’s artist lineup, offering fans a sneak peek into what’s in store for the country’s biggest cosplay celebration.
