Announcement!
From the Admin of DMYO @ Shirahane Nao Fanpage
Regarding the coming SKETCH Event scheduled in Manila, the Philippines this coming June 10th-11th, it is with much regret and sadness to announce that DMYO will no longer be attending SKETCH event.
The reason for DMYO’s withdrawal from this event is due to the delayed response from the Organizers of SKETCH Event regarding DMYO’s travel schedules and other event related information. Unfortunately as of 5th June 2017, DMYO’s travelling team did not receive any replies to inquiries regarding participation details despite various emails sent as reminder.
Hence due to such circumstances, DMYO decides she is no longer confident to be fully prepared to meet the audience attending this event in such a short notice and without adequate preparation.
In events, it is understandable that there are complex responsibilities of the organizers hence DMYO does not wish to put blame to any parties. However the reason of publishing this announcement is for DMYO to convey her sincere apology to her fans in the Philippines and to explain the real reason of her absence and sudden withdrawal from the event.
DMYO looks forward to be going back to the Philippines soon in the near future and she looks forward to meet everyone again in the Philippines.
Thank you.
With Love from DMYO.

As of writing, the organizer of the Sketch event has not yet released a statement. Dmyo is famous for being one of the illustrators of Danny Choo’s Mirai Suenaga and other mascot characters of Culture Japan.
