“Fairy Tail” anime gets Final Season next year

Fairy Tail manga author Hiro Mashima has announced on his official Twitter account that a “final season” of the television anime is scheduled to air next year.

The Final Season of FAIRY TAIL TV anime will go on air in 2018!

The manga series, which will be ending next week with chapter 545, has inspired eight seasons of the television series from 2009 to 2016.
