Japan Foundation Manila to screen free Japanese films at Trinoma

Japan Foundation, Manila announced on their official Facebook page that there will be a free screenings of new Japanese featured films at the Trinoma mall from September 7-10.

The films include: The Projects (Danchi), The Mohican Comes Home (Mohican Kokyo ni Kaeru), Key of Life (Kagidorobo no Method), and LA LA LA at Rock Bottom (Misono Universe).

The line up also includes Asian Three-Fold Mirror 2016: Reflections, which features the works of three Asian directors: Cambodian’s Sotho Kulikar, Japan’s Isao Yukisada and our very own Brillante Ma Mendoza.

The films will be shown at Cinema 5 in Trinoma mall, Quezon City. Admission is free on a first-come, first-served basis.

There will be a public event to be held at the Trinoma Activity Center on September 9 at 2:45PM to 5:30PM. Airdance Philippines with Rhosam V. Prudenciado Jr. of Dance Dance Asia 2017 will be there to perform.

This will be followed by a mini-concert with Rivermaya, Julie Anne San Jose, and Erik Santos, together with Japan’s Soil & Pimp Sessions and Pink Cres. The event is free admission.

The event is presented by The Japan Foundation, Manila and The Embassy of Japan in the Philippines and coincides with the 2nd ASEAN – Japan TV Festival 2017 (AJTVF2) in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN.
