ANIPLUS Asia to end streaming on Tribe

Southeast Asian anime channel ANIPLUS Asia will no longer available on over-the-top video service Tribe starting May 31 according to its Facebook account.

ANIPLUS Asia will end both of its live streaming and video-on-demand services on the platform.

“We can’t tell you how much we appreciate you choosing Tribe as your destination of choice to watch the top Anime shows. We have enjoyed every minute and we hope you did as well. Sadly, we regret to inform each of you that starting on MAY 31st, 2018, our anime channel, Aniplus, will no longer be on Tribe – live and VOD,” Tribe Philippine’s announcement on their Facebook page.

Tribe is an over-the-top video streaming owned by Malaysian-based company Astro. The service was launched in 2016 in the Philippines offering live and on demand content comprising live sports, Asian movies, and TV series including popular Korean entertainment.
