The official website of upcoming Filipino-produced anime series Barangay 143 was recently updated with a countdown timer that may reveal the release date of the anime series.
The countdown timer is set to turn zero on October 14, Sunday, 10:00 AM.
When asked for further details, a representative from Synergy88 Entertainment Media Inc. said that the series will air on October although no specific date was given. The countdown timer has been taken down from the website.
Barangay 143 is a feel-good coming of age story of Bren, a young Korean boy whose search for his father brings him to the Philippines. Lost and desperate for answers, is here in this foreign land that he finds an unlikely family in a team of misfits whose ambition is to bring glory to their hometown.
The series is co-produced by Synergy88 Entertainment Media Inc., August Media Holdings and TV Asahi, and it will air on GMA 7.
