The series will premiere on August 2, airing double-episode on Thursday and Friday at 8PM. It will have an encore the next day at 12PM.
Blend-S is based on a four-panel comic strip manga of the same name written and illustrated by Miyuki Nakayama. Anime News Network describes the series as follows: Maika gets a job at a cafe where all the waitresses are given certain attributes — such as “tsundere” or “little sister” — to embody while serving customers. The manager asks Maika to be the “Do S” (extreme sadist) waitress, so she will have to adopt a dominant and aggressive persona.
Animax Asia is available in the Philippines on Cignal Satellite TV Ch 73, G Sat Ch 58, Dream TV Ch 31 and Skycable/Destiny Ch 46. The channel is also on test broadcast via SkyCable’s over-the-top video streaming service, Sky On Demand.
