Fireworks, A Silent Voice anime films to be shown at the Best of Anime 2018

The Best of Anime has recently released on Facebook the Schedule of Activities for their upcoming August event. The schedule reveals that two popular anime films are scheduled to be shown at the event.

The films are Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom (Uchiage Hanabi, Shita kara Miru ka? Yoko kara Miru ka?), which is scheduled on August 25 at 11:00 AM and A Silent Voice (Koe no Katachi) on August 26, 5:55 PM.

Both films were previously released in the Philippines last year, A Silent Voice in May and Fireworks in December.

Fireworks is set during summer vacation, and follows a group of boys who try to view a fireworks display from the town lighthouse to see if they look round or flat when viewed from the side. Meanwhile, one of the boys, Norimichi, receives an invitation from his crush Nazuna to run away with her.

The story of A Silent Voice revolves around Nishimiya Shoko, a grade school student who has impaired hearing. She transfers into a new school, where she is bullied by her classmates, especially Ishida Shouya. It gets to the point where she transfers to another school and as a result, Shoya is ostracized and bullied himself, with no friends to speak to and no plans for the future. Years later, he sets himself on a path to redemption.

The Best of Anime 2018 is happening on August 25 – 26, 2018 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. For more details, you can check the official website and Facebook page
