My Hero Academia The Movie gets screening in Southeast Asia

The highly anticipated first film of My Hero Academia, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, is set to screen in theaters in Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia according to Singapore-based distribution company Odex Private Limited on their Facebook page.

Details such as the release date and venues will be announced on a later date.

The film sets after the anime series’ second season.

Deku and All Might are invited to a summer trip at “I Island”, a man-made island where the top scientists of the world reside and perform research on Quirks. During their stay, Izuku meets Melissa Shield, one of the island’s residents who is Quirkless, like he was once, and they become close friends. When the mysterious villain Wolfram takes control of the island, threatening to kill all its residents, it falls to the Hero Association and the students of U.A. High to stop him

The film opened in Japan on August 3. The film is set to screen in the US and Canada on September 25.
