Since 2008, Cosplay Mania has grown to become one of the most anticipated events in the Philippines with groundbreaking content, talented voice actors, stage actors, music artists and special guests from Japan, Star Cosplayers from around the world and the most spectacular stage shows.
This year, Star Cosplayers Emperor Cosplay and Astarohime from Russia, Hakken from Malaysia and Ola Aphrodite from Indonesia will delight Filipino fans.
2.5D stage actors Hiroki Ino (Haikyuu!!, Touken Ranbu, Bleach Musical) and Kousuke Asuma (Haikyuu!!, Bleach Musical, Onmyoji Stage Play) will also join the festivities as well.
In addition, voice actors Chiharu Sawashiro (Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS, Beyblade Burst God) and Shunsuke Takeuchi (The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls, Haikyuu!!, Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS, Fate/Apocrypha) will also share their talents with the Cosplay Mania audience.
Composer and author DJ SunaP and video producer DJ29MEAT will also be performing at the EX Stage.
In the evening, a jaw-dropping concert known as Cosplay Mania JAM (Japanese Anime Music) will be unleashed on the SP Stage. The concert will feature Japanese talents AiRI and Zwei (Robotic Notes: Elite, Terra Formars Revenge, Steins; Gate 0) as well as Megumi Nakajima known as the voice of Ranka Lee from Macross Frontier as well as her roles in KanColle and Violet Evergarden and fhána (Miss Kobayashi;s Dragon Maid, Knights & Magic, Märchen Mädchen.)
Get your wallets ready because Cosplay Mania 2018 will also be a collector’s dream as a mind-blowing number of exhibit booths including big brands from Japan such as Bandai, Good Smile Company, Banpresto, Megahouse, Lumica and K-BOOKS will be on display with exclusive items available for purchase.
Gamers will not be disappointed either as Quantum Amusement will usher in an intense arcade experience while Mobile Legends will deliver exhilarating mobile gaming action. Ludus Distributors will conjure up the hottest card games and Cybird will bring in Otome Games through their Ikémen Series. Cybird is also bringing in Japan’s popular Ikémen Series’ resident cosplayer, Hiroto Kuramasu.
Tournaments and contests will also be featured at the event including Little Akiba’s Influencer Contest, Cyalume World Dance Battle, Dance Dance Revolution A All-Star Challenge and much more. There will also be film showings, exclusive merchandise and many great activities.
Of course, Cosplay Mania will host some of the best cosplayers in the country with Cosplay Solo Showdown, Cosplay Mania Cup and the Ultimate Cosplay Championship pitting the best of the best against each other in a spectacular show as they vie for a prize pool of P250,000 worth of cash and prizes!
