UP-AME, Toushin to host sports-themed anime Cafe this March 31

The University of the Philippines Anime Manga Enthusiasts, also known as UP-AME will hold a Japanese-inspired Cafe event this March.

UP AME Cafe: Risshun brings you cosplayers and food from your favorite sports anime.

Risshun is a sports-themed cafe that brings in cosplayers and food inspired by sports anime series like Kuroko no Basuke, Haikyuu!!, Free! and Yuri on Ice. The name Risshun (立春) came from the same Japanese word which means the day before a new spring season.

The event will happen on March 31 at the Red Monster Shop in Maginhawa St., Quezon City.

A similar cafe-event called Amai Kissaten happned from March 25-26 at the Ateneo de Manila University MVP Roofdeck.

The event is organized by the UP AME, in cooperation with Toushin, a Japanese art and culture student organization from Ateneo De Manila University and Red Monster Shop.
