Popular anime series My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) will air on ABS-CBN this April according to a promotional video aired on the channel last Sunday.
The series premieres on April 7, airing every Sunday at 9:15 AM. The series will air in Filipino dubbed.
My Hero Academia is based on a manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi.
The series follows the story of young boy name Izuku Midoriya who dreamed of becoming just like his favourite Hero, All Might. In a world where 80% of humanity has superpowers, his hopes seemed to be shattered when he discovered he has none. Yet a chance encounter with All Might himself changes everything.
ABS-CBN previously aired the first and second of the anime series on YEY!, one of the network’s digital channel last May 2018.
