MNL48’s Belle Delos Reyes and Kaye Ishiyama will be flying to Shanghai, China to represent the group in the second Asia Festival 2019 happening this August.
Apart from Belle and Kay, six other members are also performing at the event. They are Sheki Arzaga, Abby Trinidad, Brei Binuya, Coleen Trinidad, Rans Rifol and Sela Guia.
The second AKB48 Group Asia Festival event is set to happen on August 24 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, China. MNL48 will be joined by six other international sister groups at the event. It includes AKB48, JKT48, BNK48, AKB48 Team SH, AKB48 Team TP, SGO48.
“Knowing that we’ll be representing our country is more than enough. I felt delighted, of course, it’s nerve-racking but it’s exciting as well. I never expected I’ll be part of something big in my MNL48 journey so I’m grateful for this opportunity.” said Belle, who for the first time performing at the event.
“I won’t promise anything but I will do my best not to waste the opportunity to represent MNL48 and the Philippines, and to show my capabilities as a member of MNL48,” Belle added.
Team SH, JKT48 and BNK48 already announced their line up for the event while members of AKB48 Team TP, SGO48 and AKB48 will be revealed in a few days.
