Two Japanese live-action films are set to be shown at the Best of Anime event happening next weekend.
According to the official website, the Best of Anime will be screening the 2017 live action films, Gintama and Ajin: Demi Human as part its stage activities.
Gintama will be shown on the first day, August 31, 11AM while Ajin: Demi Human is set on the second day, September 1, 11AM.
Gintama is a Japanese action comedy film based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi. It stars Shun Oguri as Gintoki, Masaki Suda as Shinpachi and Kanna Hashimoto as Kagura. The film released locally in 2017.
Ajin: Demi Human is based on Gamon Sakurai’s sci-fi action manga series. Katsuhiro Motohira directed the film with cast members as follows: Takeru Satoh as protagonist Kei Nagai, Gou Ayano as the main antagonist Sato and Yuu Shirota as Koji Tanaka. The film released locally in January 2018.
