Pioneer Films on Tuesday announced that the 2019 anime film ‘Her Blue Sky’ will be released in local theaters soon this year.

The local film distributor posted a visual of the main character Aoi Aioi at the Viewers’ Choice Philippines Facebook page. It has the caption “For everyone messaging, here is your answer.<3 Happy New Year!!! Tag a friend to share them some good news before the decade ends. “
The post was then shared with the caption “2020 is looking good for anime films in the Philippines”.
The company has yet to unveil any details about the release such the screening date and venues.
Early December, Pioneer films posted the movie trailer on the Facebook page.
‘Her Blue Sky’ is a new original movie from people behind the films Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day and The Anthem of the Heart. The film is centered on second-year high school student and aspiring musician Aoi Aioi, her older sister Akane Aioi, Akane’s ex-boyfriend and struggling guitarist Shinnosuke Kanomura, and Shinno-who is actually Shinnosuke from 13 years ago after traveling from the past to the present.
Pioneer Films will also release The ‘Lupin III: The First’ 3D film this year.
