May’n, SCANDAL, more Jpop artists to appear for AFA’s first online event

Anime Festival Asia (AFA) is organizing their first online event pop culture event, “AFA UNITED” to cater to anime fans all over the world who have been severely impacted by the current pandemic.

AFA UNITED can be viewed for free on April 26, Sunday, 8:00 PM (GMT) via their Youtube channel.

Several Jpop artists like: Konomi Suzuki, Minori Chihara, Mika Kobayashi, ELISA, fhána, Luna Haruna, May’n and SCANDAL will be appearing and leaving messages for their fans.

Other artists that will also appear include Amaki Sally, Ayaka Ohashi, bless4, BLUE ENCOUNT, Eri Sasaki, Eriko Nakamura, EXiNA, Hisanori Yoshida, JUNNA, Lotus Juice, nano, ORESAMA, Punipun, ReoNa, Riko Sasaki, Rithe, Sora Tokui, TRUE and YuRiKa.

AFA will also be also streaming unreleased footage from their past events.

Limited edition AFA shirts and branded digital wallpapers will be made available for a limited time via the AFASHOP.

Anime Festival Asia is the biggest Japanese pop culture event in the region, with more than 30 events across nine major cities delivered over the last eleven years, welcoming more than 1.8M visitors, 1060 exhibitors, and 425 performers in total.
